i just got back from castlewood, virginia earlier this morning. i had and PASSED my polygraph with the virginia state police!!! i am the happiest man alive! now my background investigation is underway and i will be reporting to have my medical exam conducted and performed here within the next month or so. i feel better than i have in years. this is quite possibly the best thing that has ever happened to me. i cant wait to be a virginia state police trooper. me, moody, and my boy from montgomery county virginia, whitt, will all be living together up in richmond,va come june 19th of 2006. i am sooooo pumped about. we carry sig sauer .357's. amazing round. i think the tennessee highway patrol carries the same gun just made by glock. i would rather have a sig anyday though. better gun, all the way around. good thing i dont have to pay for it, they are hellaciously expensive! moody just called me and he passed his polygraph too. i am happy for me him and whitt. i called whitt and his mom answered his phone and they are down in daytona beach, florida on vacation. we ended up talking about how fucked up the republican leadership in this country is and it was nice to talk to another southern democrat. his father is the sheriff in montgomery county va. and he is a democrat too!!! i wish i lived there so i could vote for him. too bad we dont have any democrats around here that have a chance at winning an election because the majority of people here are too damned stupid to realize that republicans fuck the working man running and dont help him. anyways, i am pumped. i hope all goes well from here on out and i think that it will. i am still going to work here in johnson city at the police department until i transfer to the VSP. have a great day and do something in your life that makes you as excited as what i have done. and this kind of excitement isnt found at a goddamn club, despite what a few girls i know think. haha. today tennessee was on national news. a correctional officer was murdered in roane county tennessee. roane county is where my uncle lives and is about 30-40 miles west of knoxville. an inmate was leaving the courthouse where he was handed or serving a 35 year sentence for agg. robbery and his wife showed up in a blue explorer and shot the correctional officer 3 times, from which wounds, the fine officer died. the 2 suspects are still at large. i hope they are apprehended very soon. mark it down, if they are caught somewhere here in my state of tennessee, they will want to die. we have a brotherhood of law enforcement between us here and it is tight when an officer is slain, especially by 2 fucking shitbags. anyways, they will get the death penalty for killing a law enforcement officer, as they should.
in other news, todya was boring for me. cara came over and spent half the day here and we didnt do anything but lay around and watch tv. then she left to go back to her aunt's house and then she and her cousins went to the movies to see some chick flick that i declined on seeing.
i havent heard from moody. i am about ready to kill his ass.
i am watching hannity & colmes on fox news now and just taking it easy for the rest of the night.

yesterday was good. me and cara spent all day together. we didnt do much. we went over to moodys and got some boxes to pack up all my shit for when moody and i move. we got a great place for a decent price.. i know that i am soooo ready to get out of here and move into our new place. cara and i got up this morning at about 915. i went to hardees and now i am getting ready for class. this week is the last week of my 18 hour course load for this summer. i have taken more hours this summer than i have since i have been in college. this has been the worst summer of my life, yet the best because i worked at the police department. i have my polygraph for the virginia state police coming up here on august 11th; this thursday. mine is at 9am and moodys is at 1pm. i think we are going to go up there to castlewood together. i am looking forward to this job... if the polygraph goes well which i know it will, i will have this job locked in. i should be fine on this polygraph. hell, i already passed johnson city's. this one cant be too difficult and the guy giving it is supposed to be cool as hell. moody talked to him and he said that he seemed to be a cool guy.
there was a shooting at the otter the other night in the parking lot. if you dont know anything about it, then thats a good thing because beyond that, its privelaged information. this goes to show you, bars and clubs are the shitholes of this earth. all the shitbags that exist attend these havens for crime and then they are, for some reason, shocked when something like this occurs? c'mon, one would like to think that the majority of people that attend these places isnt THAT stupid, but i guess, in fact, they truly are.
the assessment is coming up here at the end of august or the beginning of september. i am looking forward to this and am nervious as well.
the new staind cd, chapter v, comes out tomorrow. however, i think that i am going to go down to dad's later and see pat. if i choose to do that then i can get it this afternoon and have it a day early. the only song i have heard off of it is amazing, 'right here.' if ya havent heard it, go to their myspace site and check it out. well i am going to get off here and go to class here in about 20 minutes. stay classy and stay safe. rock!!! |

august 27th is going to be a glorious day. 22 more days until me and cara pack up and head up to Cincinnati to see JULY FOR KINGS!!!!!! i am soooooooooooo excited!! i need this sooo bad. fuck, i need a vacation from this town and from police work. i am on a 10 day break now.
its hilarious. one of my partners inv. mitchell is obssessed with Cara! haha. he thinks that i have the hottest girlfriend in the world.. i mean shit, she is the hottest thing to me. i am so so so so lucky to have someone like cara. shes going to medical school too. so i am a cop and my wife, someday, is a doctor.. as mitchel said, "man, you got the BEST of both worlds. an absolutely beautiful girl that loves you and someone who makes the bank..." haha. well i have to say, i agree... anyways, cara and i are gonna go down to mitchell's farm and hang out with him and his girlfriend here on our 10 break.. it should be fun.
but the main thing is - me and cara get to see the kings in 22 days!!!! i cant wait!! |

well, i have been moved back to vice in c.i.d. this is awesome. we drive unmarked vehicles, and buy drugs, and pick up whores. other than that, all other things we do is secret. i came home last night sometime after 1am, took a shower and went straight to bed. i slept for damn near 12 hours! moody called me and woke me up at 131pm! whew... anyways, i am going to finish getting ready cook something to eat, and then head back down to headquarters. we have a few things that we are sitting on that are pending some action... have a good day. |

so in less than 2 weeks i will have a new home... i am glad about it for the most part. i need a fresh start and a new apartment... too much drama and shit encompasses this house. me and moody are going to have a new house and i cant wait. its a townhouse in south johnson city. this will be home for us both while we are at the virginia state police academy up in richmond if we both decide to take the job...
pros of going to VSP:
-i will be able to graduate as i am scheduled in december
-$51,000 a year versus $29,100 a year here @ JCPD
-no drama will be involved in my life for approximately 39 months
-i will be a trooper with one of the finest law enforcement agencies in the United States
pros of JCPD:
-i really like this department all around
-i like working for chief lowry
-i can work and do about what i want here
-i know the area better
-i will be near cara
i dont know, i have pros to both, as there are cons... i will just have to be witness to some wise counsel and talk to a few close friends before i make the decision. pretty much, if moody goes, i go... thats that. other than this, i dont know.
i would really like to play a round of golf here sometime.. i havent been so relaxed and pissed all at once in years!!! literally.
i love butch walker. every emotion or feeling you ca have, that man has had and has written a song about.
i am going to be buying a new handgun here pretty soon. i am thinking about getting a GLOCK 9mm, because they are cheap to shoot and easy to handle. however, i am also looking at the GLOCK .40 caliber. better law enforcement round, all together. here at the JCPD we have H&K .45's. these are far too expensive to buy without the department because one runs about $1,000.00 brand new. i dont know. thoughts. |

cara got home last night from oklahoma.
she spent today with me.
we went to eat at panera bread and saw a few of kim's emo punk bitch boy friends. i love seeing how pathetic life is when you wear pink shirts and capri pants with converse all-star shoes.
we came back here and hung out with jonah for a bit and then she left because she had to go home for dinner.
i love 3 doors down.
i talked to moody today and he said that we are applying with the charlotte, nc and asheville, nc police departments. i am also going to apply with the kentucky state police.
i just hope the virginia state police or jcpd jobs fall through, fulltime. |
